Darker skin on the inner thighs is incredibly common. Friction is usually the main cause, so prevention matters as much as treatment.
Causes
- Thighs rubbing together (chafing), especially in heat
- Tight clothing and seams
- Shaving and waxing irritation
- Sweat and moisture
Prevent chafing first
- Wear anti-chafe shorts or bike shorts under skirts and dresses.
- Use an anti-chafing balm before long walks or workouts.
- Choose breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics.
- Change out of sweaty clothes quickly.
Gentle brightening routine
- Cleanse with a gentle bar like the Glow Bar and rinse well.
- Use an exfoliating pad 2–3 times a week, never on irritated or broken skin.
- Apply a thin layer of the Glow Serum and let it dry fully before dressing.
- Moisturize.
Important
- This skin is delicate. Go slow and patch test first.
- Keep actives away from mucous membranes.
- If skin is raw, itchy or infected, or darkening appears suddenly with velvety texture, see a doctor.
A more even look usually takes 6–8 weeks of consistent care and friction prevention.
