Kojic acid soap is a bestseller for a reason: it's simple, affordable and fits into any shower. Using it the wrong way is also the most common reason people get dry, irritated skin.
Step by step
- Wet skin with lukewarm water.
- Lather the bar in your hands or on a cloth. Don't rub the bar directly on sensitive areas.
- Massage the lather onto skin.
- Leave it on for 30–60 seconds. Start with 30 seconds and build up.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Moisturize while skin is still damp.
How often?
Start once a day. If your skin feels fine after a week, you can use it twice a day on areas like underarms, knees and elbows.
Avoid irritation
- Don't use on broken, sunburned or freshly shaved skin.
- Keep it away from your eyes.
- Don't leave lather on for several minutes. Longer isn't better.
- Always moisturize after.
- Use SPF on exposed areas.
Kojic acid soap + turmeric
The Solari Glow Bar pairs kojic acid with turmeric for cleansing that also supports a brighter, calmer look. Store it on a draining soap dish so it lasts longer.
How long until results?
Skin often feels smoother within a week. The look of dark spots changes more slowly, usually over 4–8 weeks, and faster when paired with a serum.
